Janet Omisore is a Private Sector Development Expert (PSDE) with over thirty years’ experience working in the public and private sector, more than half of which was spent in the service of the Nigerian Association of Chamber of Commerce, Industry Mines & Agriculture (NACCIMA) where she rose to the position Deputy Director General. Her experience cut across business association management, project implementation, administration, trade facilitation program development and business development. Her expertise in partnership development, stakeholder engagement and mentorship has earned her reputation in the comity of chambers of commerce movement in Nigeria. She has mentored the establishment of some chambers of commerce and assisting them to grow in line with their corporate strategy.

She is an ISO management system consultant and implementer that has worked with several organizations to get certified on ISO management systems. She has served in various capacities including, Private Secretary to the Wife of the Governor (2003 – 2007) Administrative Consultant to the National President, NACCIMA (2021-2023) Project Technical Steering Committee (PTSC) of the National Quality Infrastructure Project for Nigeria (NQIP) 2013 to 2017, National Technical Committee of Governance of Organizations (2016 to date).

A registered Professional of the Financial Reporting Council of Nigeria, Nigeria Quality Infrastructure Forum, (NiQIF). Advisory board member, Asian African Chamber of Commerce and Industry (AACCI) Janet holds a B.A(Hons) in Linguistics and an MSc in International Relations and Strategic Studies from the University of Jos. Member, Institute of Chartered Secretary (ICSA, London / ICSAN) and holds a Certificate in Principles of Business and Enterprise, Peacock College, UK. ECOWAS Trade Liberalization Scheme (ETLS) Train the Trainers, Association Chamber Excellence (ACE) Training of Trainers. She is happily married with children.
